A Winter Wonderland

Yesterday afternoon, all these big white flakes started falling.  It was like the trees had a bad case of dandruff.

This morning, mom took me out to explore the snow.

A couple hours later, look how much snow we got:

Lucky for me, I have my nice warm sweater and nice warm bed.

I can hear some of you fellow bloggers(especially you out there in th Midwest), "That's not snow, that's just a dusting".  Mom agrees (being from Montana), but people over here don't know how to drive in it and the city is never prepared and doesn't plow/sand.  So a couple inches pretty much brings the area to a stand still.
We'll keep you all updated.
We have almost 3 inches now and the snow has almost stopped.  Supposed to get gale force winds this evening, dropping wind chills below zero.  Brrrr...
