Hi everyone!!!
I've got grrrreat news!!
I met up with the holistic doc a couple weeks ago. She was very cool.
Mom was amazed at how mellow I was with her. But there was something about her that just made me feel so relaxed and calm. I even laid down a couple times while she was examining me. Mom was so shocked she took a picture:
The doc did some testing for food sensitivity/allergies and found out I can't have:
Chicken (except eggs)
beef (boo!)
dairy (double boo!)
grains
That means no more cottage cheese (which I love) and no more Merrick flossies.
The doc gave me some herbs to take and told mom to keep giving me my digestive enzymes before every meal along with marshmallow root and a calmag supplement. She also gave mom a recipe for new homecooked meals (turkey and veggies) for me in addition to my Orijen 6-fish kibble.
The super good news is that my poop is hard, like it should be, and I feel a lot better. So, although mom now has to cook 35 cups of food a week, she is very happy that we have been able to manage my inflammatory bowel disease without ANY medications!
So, now that I'm feeling totally grrrreat, I will be blogging more.
Tomorrow, I'll have a few pictures of me and my sis, Nala, at our play date today.
Happy last day of February!!!!
